This article describes the working principle, performance, and test results of a high precision pulse ratio circuit (or analog divider). When the dynamic range of position is 0.05-1 and the dynamic range of energy is 1-10V, the integrated nonlinearity of the circuit is less than 0.1% and the position resolution (FWHM) is better than 0.1% of full scale.
