马克思主义美学要想重返公共话语空间,最重要的是在历史悲剧的理论框架下对现代性悲剧存在作出批判与反思。马克思主义悲剧美学虽然是一种外来的理论模式,却与中国文化传统和现实审美经验存在着內在的精神契合点,中国文化的悲剧观念与马克思主义现代悲剧美学中的“革命悲剧”、“日常生活悲剧”以及“尘世的崇高”等悲剧观念息息相通。作为中国文化传统与中国现代化过程中各种悲剧性现象相结合的结果,中国悲剧观念已成为中国式审美现代性的核心概念之一。在审美现代,性、悲剧观念、世俗性崇高等成为全球性现象和全球性问题的条件下,马克思主义美学有可能对此种陷于深刻伦理危机和价值危机的现象作出理论的阐释,并将获得自身理论的进一步发展。
