通过日益增多的医院与养老院等特定功能区域,城市使得现代人的死亡离开了自己的家中,这种城市化的规划使得死亡进一步越出了公众的视野。如此的发展模式,让城市看似只是掩盖了死亡,从而偏离了现代文明对于死亡不断祛魅的启蒙维度,但是城市其实也蕴含着对抗死亡的潜能,只是这悖论的另一端缺乏发酵的多种因素。
Through the increasing number of specialized functional areas such as hospitals and nursing homes, cities have left their homes with the death of the modern people, an urbanization plan that has made death even further out of the public eye. Such a model of development makes the city appear to simply cover up the death, thus deviating from the enlightenment dimension of modern civilization that is constantly disenchantd with death.
