Reasonable selection and adjustment of ground motion recording is one of the important factors that affect the reliability of the structural elastoplastic time-history analysis. Firstly, 15 ground motion records were selected as input, and the spectrum acceleration Sa (T1) corresponding to the basic period T1 was taken as the index of ground motion strength to adjust the original ground motion records. One-six three-span reinforced concrete plane frame structure Incremental dynamic analysis, the correlation between linear and nonlinear seismic response parameters such as the maximum inter-story drift angle and the spectral acceleration at different periods is analyzed. The analysis results show that the correlation between the acceleration values at different periods and the seismic response of structures is different, and the degree of correlation is related to whether the structure enters into the nonlinear or non-linearity. This result shows that due to the influence of the high-order modes or the periodic lengthening effect of entering the non-linear phase, the dynamic analysis of the structure is based on a single intensity indicator such as Sa (T 1). Therefore, the discreteness of the results is inevitable. Therefore, the development of the intensity index considering the spectral features of the earthquake is the basis to further improve the seismic response analysis and seismic performance evaluation. Based on this, the article summarizes the current seismic intensity indices that can be considered for spectral shapes and their application status systematically, so as to provide some reference for the research on the selection and adjustment of reasonable ground motion records in our country.
