Japan’s Meiji Restoration and North Korea’s A-arm coup were the first attempt by Japan and North Korea to try to turn the feudal nation into a modern capitalist country. The Meiji Restoration brought Japan into the threshold of a capitalist nation and became a powerful power in Asia. However, the coup d’état of North Korea’s attempt to reform Japan’s Meiji Restoration has been strangled by the cradle, and North Korea eventually fell into the abyss of the colonies. Looking at the social changes in Japan and the DPRK in recent history, it is not hard to find that the two countries have similar historical backgrounds in reform and reform. Their time is not far apart and their goals are similar. All these are aimed at saving the nation from danger and adopting top-down reforms as a means to develop capitalist politics , Economy, culture, to achieve the purpose of strengthening the military. At the same time, we can find that these similarities cover many differences. For example, the two countries struggle to reform the line and means of reforming the strength of the leading group and the cultural characteristics of both countries are different. The historical inevitability of success or failure in the transformation of the two countries also lies within them.
