In order to have an understanding of the gold content of the Sanxingdui sacrificial pits, samples were taken from the excavated gold objects. This article describes the thickness and weight of the sample obtained from 14 gold excavated from the Sanxingdui sacrificial pit and the composition of the sample using an electron probe. The results show that the excavated gold is gold and silver alloy. Their composition is: gold is 82.451% ~ 86.194%, silver is 11.006% ~ 14.795%, barium is 1.270% ~ 1.947% and some trace elements. This group of gold using gold ore materials, smelting into gold and silver alloy, after forging or rolling molding. According to the presence of Ba, a characteristic element, it is preliminarily concluded that the Au-Au deposit may originate from the Wallyisha Gold Mine of Yanyuan County, Sichuan Province, where the Litang River meets the Yalong River, the tributary of the Jinsha River in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
