Directly linked porphyrin arrays have exhibited distinctive electrochemical,photochemical,and photophysical properties due to the strong electronic or excitonic interactions between two closely adjacent porphyrin moieties.1 Hypervalent iodine reagent also has been proved to be powerful in one-electron oxidative coupling of porphyrins.2
