When Internet has become an indispensable part of people’s life, online news has obtaining more people’s favor. However, translation is an important factor which affects online news communication and satisfies audiences’ demand. News headline is a language media that helps readers getting more information in limited time, and plays a special role in news report. This thesis attempts to explore the strategy of online news C-E translation on headline. By observing all the samples, the author finds out four translation strategies to improve the quality of online news headline C-E translation.
