From the 1980s onwards, management scholars began to study corporate strategic decision-making from the perspective of social psychology, especially from a cognitive perspective. Organization and management of cognition (MOC) became an important branch of management. This paper reviews the progress of the research on strategic decision-making under the cognitive perspective and points out that the existing researches explore the influence of managers’ cognition on the strategic decision-making process and its results from two aspects of cognitive process and cognitive structure. At the same time, the existing research level also involves both the individual level and the collective level. Based on the review of these studies, we try to use a theoretical framework to integrate the theoretical connections between different research contexts, in order to highlight the contribution of existing literature and gaps in order to provide reference for future research.
