通过对高性能浮点DSP处理器TMS320C32的外部存储器接口的研究,介绍其存储器结构的特点,并根据其特点给出3种设计方案。这3种不同的方案,分别可以实现3种宽度的存储器接口,即8位、16位和32位的外部数据访问或是16位和32位的外部程序访问。这一特点使得TMS320C32芯片非常适合于时变系统的控制与处理。
Through the research on the external memory interface of high performance floating point DSP processor TMS320C32, the characteristics of its memory structure are introduced and three kinds of design schemes are given according to its characteristics. The three different solutions provide three kinds of width memory interfaces, namely 8, 16 and 32-bit external data access or 16-bit and 32-bit external program access respectively. This feature makes TMS320C32 chip is very suitable for time-varying system control and processing.
