Optimization is an art. In oil painting teaching, we should pay attention to enlightenment and cultivation of students’ creative thinking. However, the development of oil painting in our country is not mature enough. Therefore, it is more necessary to improve the quality of oil painting teaching through the cultivation of creative thinking. How to train creative thinking of students in oil painting teaching, so as to adapt to the educational innovation requirements were described and analyzed.
