工业机器人的发展已经有了近百年的历史,随着计算机技术、电子技术的迅速发展,以及日趋高度自动化的工业企业的要求,工业机器人在21世纪迎来了一个机遇与挑战并存的高速发展时代。极坐标机器人做为工业机器人里极其具有灵活性和广泛适应性的重要成员,其发展意义非凡而深远。《三维空间3自由度极坐标机器人研制》课题组成员选其做为课题研究,可以说是既考虑了理论研究的延展性又考虑了行业发展的实践性。
