研究穆斯林民众风俗习惯的伊斯兰民俗学 ,其研究客体涵盖的一切民俗事项 ,都离不开伊斯兰教的两大经典———《古兰经》和《圣训》。穆斯林社会千姿百态的民俗文化的存在方式和历史渊源都是伊斯兰精神的映衬。有些特殊的行为方式也是伊斯兰教的时代性、地方性演变 ,哪怕是那些远离经典的反常习俗 ,也是由于对经典崇尚的流变和盲目信仰所致。只要是穆斯林社会整体的、系统化的、传承的、扩布的、稳定的和变异的穆斯林民俗文化 ,则属于伊斯兰经典规范化的伊斯兰民俗学范畴 Islamic folklore, which studies the customs and habits of Muslims, can not be separated from the two major Islamic disciples, the Qur’an and the Hadith, for all the folklore covered by the research object.
