Influenced by her own growing environment and the social and cultural currents at that time, Vera Cather reflected that Indian culture is an inevitable choice in his works. As the author gradually deepens his understanding of Indian culture, the image of Indian people described in her works is becoming more and more full and the cultural features become more vivid. In this process, the author highlights the naive ecological outlook of Indian culture, shaping the Indian tribal community as an idealized community, attempting to use it as a solution to social problems. Cather’s one-sided description of Indian culture makes it a cultural representation.
