Taikang Space photography has long been the focus of attention, this exhibition gathered hundreds of precious old photos. As part of the Taikang Space Photography Research Project, selected works are part of Taikang’s extensive archive of images. This image archives covers about a century and a half since the introduction of photography into China in the mid-19th century. These various forms of portraits can be called the pedigree picture of the spiritual evolution of the Chinese people since the past half century. They can also be regarded as a thumbnail picture of the ups and downs of historical expressions.
