福克纳的小说《熊》以小主人公艾萨克学习打猎为题材,讲述了一个生动的狩猎故事。老熊在他们所居住的荒原中神灵一般,躲过无数猎人的枪击,屹立不死,堪称当地的图腾。但是最终却死在枪法极差的猎人布恩和他的野蛮猎犬“狮子”手下。场景惨烈,令人叹息。老熊的悲壮之死揭示了无知短视的现代人类对原始大自然的破坏,批判了人类文明进程中邪恶的一面,警醒世人寻找一条合理发展的道路。
Faulkner’s novel Bear is based on Isaac’s study of hunting as a theme, and tells a vivid story of hunting. The bears lived in the wilderness gods in general, escaped shooting gunshots of countless hunters, stand immortal, called the local totem. But eventually died in the very poor gun hunter Boone and his savage beagle “lion ” men. Scene was tragic, sighs. The tragic death of the bears reveals the destruction of the primitive nature by the modern mankind ignorant of short sightedness, has criticized the evil side of the process of human civilization, and warned the world to find a way for sound development.
