干热河谷区的坡耕地试点治理工程所采取的治理措施包括坡改梯措施、水利措施、机耕路、排水措施及沟道治理措施。通过对干热河谷区坡耕地的综合治理,流域内水土流失综合治理度达到98%,可实现试点区年减蚀量达1.43万t,年蓄水效益达8.86万m3,流域内土壤侵蚀模数由原来的6 500 t/(km2·a)降到500 t/(km2·a),每年增加经济效益达30 420元/hm2。
