90年代是寻根文学的退潮期,但回族作家霍达写于1993年的《未穿的红嫁衣》,就具有对精神家园和中国传统文化的追寻意识,这是这一时期文学发展的一大创新。以社会转型期和文学发展思潮为背景,利用互文性、意象等理论,通过展现作品中颇具神秘色彩的秦屿风情,分析文中多处呈现的历史文本,解读红色、黑色意象,来挖掘作品中作家的寻根意识,探究这一时期作家产生寻根意识之缘由。
The 1990s were the ebb period of the root-seeking literature.
