本文以《卫报》有关钓鱼岛争端的系列报道为语料,以批评话语分析为理论框架,并以系统功能语法为工具,对之进行了批评性分析,揭露其隐含的意识形态意义和对处于岛争中的中日关系的立场态度。本研究发现:(1)该报利用词汇的分类功能构建了岛争中的中国和日本不同的形象;(2)对日方观点多频次、高质量的引述凸显了其情态上的偏向;(3)以语法隐喻为手段将报道者的偏日立场进行预设,并将中国“主题化”;(4)利用及物系统区别对待中国和日本。
This article takes the series of Diaoyu Islands stories about Diaoyu Island as a corpus, criticizes the discourse analysis as the theoretical framework, and uses the systematic functional grammar as a tool to conduct a critical analysis to reveal its implicit ideological significance and to the The attitude of the Sino-Japanese relations in the island dispute. This study found that: (1) The newspaper constructed the different images of China and Japan in the island dispute by using the classification function of the vocabulary; (2) the multi-frequency and high-quality quotation of the Japanese viewpoint highlights its modal bias; 3) Using grammatical metaphor as a means to prescribe the reporter’s position on the bias toward Japan and “China” “thematicization”; (4) using the system of things to distinguish between China and Japan.
