一今年九月二十六日是我院建院三十周年。如果从学院的前身西安石油学校和西北石油工业专科学校算起,那就是建校三十七周年了。在三十多年漫长日子里,我们的学院走过了一条极不平坦而又曲折的道路;我们的教职工队伍,也在实践中培育形成了可贵的好传统。为适应新中国成立后发展石油工业的急需,一九五一年经西北军政委员会批准,以原西安私立力行中学为基础,成立了西北石油工业专科学校,由燃料部西北石油管理局领导。当年就招收了钻井、采油、测量专业学生三百一十一人,并于一九五五年改为西安石油学校,由石油部领导,是我国最早成立的石油工业专科学校之一。 September 26 this year is the thirtieth anniversary of the founding of our hospital. If from the school’s predecessor, Xi’an Petroleum School and Northwest Petroleum Industrial College, it is the thirty-seventh anniversary of the founding of the school. In the long span of more than three decades, our college has gone through a very uneven and tortuous path. Our faculty and staff have also nurtured and cultivated valuable traditions in practice. To meet the urgent need for the development of the oil industry after the founding of new China, the Northwest Military and Political Committee approved in 1951 established the Northwestern Petroleum Industry Technical College based on the original Xi’an Liby Li Middle School and was led by the Northwest Petroleum Administration of the Ministry of Fuel. In the same year, a total of 311 students were enrolled in drilling, oil production and measurement. In 1955, they were reorganized into Xi’an Petroleum School under the leadership of the Ministry of Petroleum. They were one of the earliest oil industry colleges in China.
