自改革开放以来,我国经济迅速发展,在经济全球化的潮流下,越来越多的跨国公司进驻中国,并且越来越多的大公司或企业与国外有经济贸易往来。在这种形势下,公司企业对会计人才的要求也越来越高,培养高端会计人才,不仅要求其具备扎实的会计知识,并且还应掌握可交流的专业英语能力,同时对会计人才的自主学习能力和灵活力有所要求。因此,传统的本科会计英语教学已经不适合社会对会计人才的要求,而目前使用较广泛地会计英语教学改革模式为PBL教学模式,英文名称Problem-Basedlearning,基于问题的学习。这种学习模式目前在国外教学中使用的比较广泛,教学效果较好,目前国内部分学校也在尝试实行。
