Research findings concerning student graduation and dropout in online higher education (OHE) can play an important role in maximizing the cost effectiveness of OHE, reducing student dropout rate and Shortening program completion time. Based on a sample of 79352 junior college students from 38 disciplines in 9 provincial Radio and TV Universities, this study employs research instruments of statistics analysis, survival analysis, data mining, etc. to investigate graduation time, factors influencing graduation time and graduation time prediction. The findings show that: (1) the mean graduation time is 6 semesters, with a high graduation rate starting from the fifth semester till the eighth semester; (2) graduation time varies significantly in terms of gender, marital status, ID place, and education background; (3) marital status and ID place are positive factors while education background and gender are negative factors; and (4) a graduation time decision tree is constructed, with two set of graduation time prediction rules.
