一年一度的上海市市长国际企业家咨询会议第九次会议，于1997年11月2～3日在浦东新亚汤臣大酒店举行。来自世界13个国家的160多名国际著名企业家与会，共同为“面向21世纪的上海”这一主题献计献策。十次会议十个主题这次会议的召开，表明上海市市长国际企业家咨询会议已经完成 The 9th meeting of the Mayor of Shanghai Municipality on International Entrepreneurs Consultation was held in New Asia Tomson Grand Hotel, Pudong from November 2 to November, 1997.
