切尔诺贝利核事故使大量放射性物质释放，造成了成人和儿童甲状腺疾病的增加，尤其是儿童甲状腺癌发病人数骤增，消化系统、心血管系统和神经精神系统方面的疾病也有所增加。白俄罗斯政府呼吁全世界开展国际大合作，共同研究发展核安全技术。
The release of a large amount of radioactive material from the Chernobyl nuclear accident has resulted in an increase in thyroid diseases in adults and children, especially in the incidence of thyroid cancer in children and an increase in diseases of the digestive, cardiovascular and neuropsychiatric systems. The Belarussian government calls for the world’s big international cooperation to jointly study and develop nuclear safety technology.
