词汇是英语的基础,语言是由不同的词汇构成的,英语词汇的掌握程度决定着英语学习者英语水平的高低。因此,词汇在大学英语学习中的重要性是不容忽视的。而对于词汇的识记,则是许多大学英语学习者的最大难题,词汇量的缺乏严重制约了其英语学习兴趣和能力的提高。本文结合我校部分非英语专业学生的英语学习实际,以认知语言学为理论依据,以期探讨学生在大学英语学习过程中对词汇习得的认知。
Vocabulary is the basis of English, the language is composed of different words, the mastery of English vocabulary determines the level of English learners English. Therefore, the importance of vocabulary in college English learning can not be ignored. However, the recognition of vocabulary is the biggest problem for many college English learners. The lack of vocabulary severely restricts the improvement of their interest and ability in learning English. Based on the fact that some non-English majors in our school are learning English and based on cognitive linguistics, this paper aims to explore the students’ cognition of vocabulary acquisition in the process of college English learning.
