山东地理位置十分重要,抗日战争和解放战争前期,由于当时敌强我弱,原有的公路成为敌人进行经济掠夺和军事进攻的主要交通设施,我军民根据军事需要,对公路进行破袭战,直到解放战争转入战略反攻后,才积极进行整修公路、桥梁,恢复交通,支援前线。中华人民共和国建立时,全省能勉强通车的公路仅3000多公里,且几乎全部为土路,公路技术状况很坏,客货汽车只有180余辆,其中国营客车不到10辆、货车560余辆,其余多是私商经营。 Shandong’s geographical location was very important.
