认识对象常常会由于我们采取不同的观察角度而呈现出不同的风采,这已成为美术史研究当中的常识。今天,如果将闻一多先生作为美术家,来重新审视他富于审美态度的一生,我们一定会有不同寻常的发现,也可能会从另一个方面了解20世纪前期中国美术衍化历程中逐渐被遮蔽的某些问题。[本期名家]吴长江以及中国艺术研究院中国画院、青岛画院画家们的作品是本期的介绍重点。那么,我们还可以用什么角度来看待这些在世而又活跃的艺术家呢?这又常常取决于我们希望从认识对象那里获得怎样的文化认识和价值判断。我们希望,广大作者和读者们一起来关注、一起来探讨中国美术的当代发展。
