With rapid development and use of information and communications technology in education, learners
are facing more and more difficulties in adapting to the ever-changing new learning environment, hence affecting learning quality and efficiency. Taking 800 undergraduates from 3 traditional universities in Guangdong Province as subjects, this study employs the research instruments of questionnaire and stratified sampling strategies to investigate the environmental factors affecting undergraduates’ self-efficacy. Research findings show that learning content, learning support and social structure of learning are significant factors affecting undergraduates’ self-efficacy, with the factors influencing each other in certain aspects.
