本文以数理模型公式化的形式,明确了教育水平与代际流动的关系.为了推导出不依赖于特定数值的一般性命题,采用了模型由2维度(教育水平与出身阶层)2等级(高和低)的要素构成以及教育水平高者优先流入到精英阶层的假设.将精英阶层的选拔机制设定为注重出身阶层的词典式次序模型和注重教育水平的教育至上模型.通过比较分析两个模型,明确了三个问题:(1)教育水平的提升导致代际上升流动的封闭性这一悖论现象的产生条件;(2)教育机会均等化与代际上升流动的关系;(3)根据模型的理论值,推导出相关的理论命题.最后,本文验证了模型的理论值与问卷数据获得的经验值的匹配度以及指出了今后需要研究的课题.
