目的探讨英语专业大学生抑郁情绪及相关因素。方法应用A型行为类型问卷、艾森克人格问卷、青少年生活事件量表、应付方式问卷、社会支持评定量表、自尊量表、抑郁自评量表等对600名英语专业大学生进行测查。结果英语专业大学生抑郁症状检出率为23.33%,性别间差异无统计学意义(χ2=1.04,P>0.05),18~20岁年龄组高于21~24岁组,差异有统计学意义(χ2=8.48,P<0.01)。学习生活不满意、无业余爱好及睡眠不规律次数越多的学生,抑郁症状越多,抑郁症状与精神质、神经质、生活事件、自责、幻想、退避、合理化呈正相关,与内外向、掩饰性、应对方式之解决问题、社会支持、自尊呈负相关。逐步回归分析揭示,自尊水平低、精神质、社会支持状况差、学习生活不满意、掩饰性、神经质、年龄小、采用合理化的应对方式、采取求助的应对方式少、生活事件多均为发生抑郁情绪的危险因素。结论英语专业大学生抑郁症状的发生率较高,其发生受多种因素的影响。
Objective To explore the depression and related factors of English majors. Methods A total of 600 college English majors were examined using Type A Behavior Type Questionnaire, Eysenck Personality Questionnaire, Adolescent Life Events Scale, Coping Style Questionnaire, Social Support Rating Scale, Self-Esteem Scale, Depression Scale of Self-Rating. Results The prevalence of depressive symptoms in English majors was 23.33%. There was no significant difference between sexes (χ2 = 1.04, P> 0.05). The prevalence of depression was higher in 18-20 years old group than in 21-24 years old group (P <0.05) χ2 = 8.48, P <0.01). Students who were dissatisfied with their study life, those with no hobbies and irregular sleeping habits had more depression symptoms. Depression symptoms were positively correlated with psychoticism, nervousness, life events, remorse, fantasy, evasion, rationalization, and internal and external disguise Sex, coping styles to solve problems, social support, self-esteem was negatively correlated. The stepwise regression analysis revealed that the low self-esteem level, poor psychology, poor social support, dissatisfaction with learning life, disguise, nervousness, and younger age, rational coping styles, less coping style and more life events were depression Emotional risk factors. Conclusion English majors have a higher prevalence of depressive symptoms and their occurrence is affected by many factors.
