有限元方法FEM(Finite Element Method)是计算电磁学中非常重要的一种方法,而当问题规模较大时或计算量较大时,传统串行单机FEM难以胜任.本文在基于消息传递(MPI)的分布式并行系统上,采用有限元方法对电磁场问题进行并行求解.有限元方法形成的系数矩阵可以表示成块三对角矩阵,适合采用并行多分裂方法高效求解.并行计算技术的运用减少了计算时间并扩展了可处理问题的规模.结果表明,将并行技术应用于电磁有限元计算是有效并且可行的.
Finite Element Method (FEM) is a very important method in computational electromagnetics (FEM), and when the problem scale is large or the computational complexity is large, traditional serial stand-alone FEM can not do the job well.In this paper, based on message passing (MPI ) Distributed parallel system, the finite element method is used to solve the electromagnetic field problem in parallel. The coefficient matrix formed by the finite element method can be expressed as block tridiagonal matrix, which is suitable for efficient solution with parallel multi-splitting method. The calculation time and the scale of the problem can be expanded.The results show that it is effective and feasible to apply the parallel technique to the electromagnetic finite element calculation.
