在意大利 L NL实验室 ,研制了两种新型反冲质量谱仪 (RMS)焦面探测器 :灵敏面积均为70 mm× 140 mm的 Padova型和 Argonne型位置灵敏 -平板雪崩计数器 (PS- PPAC)。详细描述了紧密结构的特点及主要特性 ,各自的性能测试方法及结果。对α源 (能量为 5 .5 Me V) ,Padova型 PPAC的 X、Y位置分辨分别为 1.0和 0 .8mm,对应的探测效率分别为 4 9%和 85 % ,Argonne型 PPAC的 X、Y位置分辨分别为 1.8和 1.0 mm,对应的探测效率分别为 12 .7%和 4 .5 %。
Two new Reverberation Mass Spectrometer (RMS) focal plane detectors have been developed at L NL Laboratory in Italy: the Padova and Argonne Position Sensitive-Flat Avalanche Counters (PS-PPACs) with a sensitive area of 70 mm × 140 mm ). Described in detail the characteristics of compact structure and the main features of their performance testing methods and results. For the α source (energy 5.5 MeV), the Padova PPAC’s X, Y position resolution is 1.0 and 0.8 mm, respectively, corresponding to a detection efficiency of 49% and 85%, respectively. Argonne type PPAC’s X, Y The position resolution is 1.8 and 1.0 mm, respectively, corresponding to 12.7% and 4.5% respectively.
