目的检测再生基因4(RegⅣ)在各种胃癌及胃非癌组织中的表达情况,并探讨其可能临床意义。方法运用免疫组织化学方法检测73例胃癌手术切除标本和90例胃癌及癌旁非癌组织芯片标本中RegⅣ蛋白的表达情况。结果 RegⅣ在胃黏膜肠化生杯状细胞呈强阳性染色。肠型胃癌、胃印戒细胞癌、粘液腺癌的癌细胞中呈频繁免疫反应性[分别为100.0%(3/3)、93.3%(14/15)和90.9%(10/11)]。RegⅣ的表达与胃癌的组织分型相关(P<0.05),与胃癌的侵袭参数(主要包括肿瘤浸润深度、是否转移及TNM分期等)无明显相关性(P>0.05)。RegⅣ在胃印戒细胞癌和粘液腺癌中的表达阳性率分别为40.0%(12/30)和43.3%(13/30)。结论 RegⅣ在胃黏膜肠化生杯状细胞、胃印戒细胞癌及粘液腺癌中显示频繁的免疫反应性,提示RegⅣ可能参与胃腺癌的“肠”途径发生机制。
Objective To detect the expression of Reg Ⅳ gene in various kinds of gastric cancer and gastric non-cancerous tissues and to explore its possible clinical significance. Methods Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of Reg ¢ ô protein in 73 specimens of gastric cancer and 90 samples of gastric cancer and adjacent non-cancerous tissue. Results Reg Ⅳ was strongly positive for goblet cells in gastric metaplasia. (100.0% (3/3), 93.3% (14/15) and 90.9% (10/11), respectively) of enteric gastric cancer, gastric signet ring cell carcinoma, and mucinous adenocarcinoma. The expression of RegⅣ was correlated with the histological type of gastric cancer (P <0.05), but not with the invasion parameters of gastric cancer (mainly including the depth of tumor invasion, metastasis and TNM stage) (P> 0.05). The positive rates of RegⅣ in gastric signet-ring cell carcinoma and mucinous adenocarcinoma were 40.0% (12/30) and 43.3% (13/30), respectively. Conclusions Reg Ⅳ shows frequent immunoreactivity in gastric mucosal metaplasia goblet cells, gastric signet - ring cell carcinoma and mucinous adenocarcinoma, suggesting that Reg Ⅳ may be involved in the mechanism of “intestinal” pathway in gastric adenocarcinoma.
