我国儒家的“无声之乐”、禅宗的“孤掌之声”、道家的“大音希声”是哲学问题,又是艺术问题;是音乐的本体问题,又是音乐的审美问题;禅宗的“孤掌之声”、道家的“大音希声”还涉及宗教问题,“孤掌之声”还涉及佛教禅宗问题:它们的鼎足而立还涉及儒释道文化,儒释道音乐的交流、融合问题;儒释道在我国历史上能日兴并举,这是我国古代社会的历史机遇,是我国多元文化的一个必然,因此,它们又涉及文化历史问题;儒释道的关系复杂、交叉、相互渗透,对我国政治、经济、文化、历史、哲学、心理、民俗等等的相互影响至深至远,……长期以来一直是思想家、哲学家、美学家、宗教界不倦探索的问题,这里不量拙力地做点思考。
