According to the report of the Swiss Watch Association, last year’s Swiss watch exports fell for the first time since 1985. In 1995, the total value of Swiss watches (watches, movements and watch parts) was 7.67 billion Swiss francs (1.2 Swiss francs equivalent to 1 US dollar), which was 3.6% lower than the 7.96 billion Swiss francs in 1994.
