This article discusses the effect of magnesium sulfate on ventricular arrhythmias in patients with congestive heart failure (CHF). The report is as follows. 1 Subjects and Methods 1.1 Object 68 patients with chronic congestive heart failure hospitalized in our hospital from June 2005 to August 2008, 46 males and 22 females, aged 34 to 78 (58 ± 12) years of age; etiology: 24 cases of coronary heart disease, 18 cases of hypertensive heart disease, dilated cardiomyopathy in 16 cases, rheumatic heart disease
