Sudden death, a healthy or seemingly healthy person, or already in the convalescence of the disease without any signs of death, occurred spontaneously and unexpectedly within 6 hours of sudden death. There are studies [1], the annual incidence of sudden death in psychiatric patients was 11.6 / million. Sudden death from mental illness occurred more often during the night, when medical personnel were less alert and less likely to be found dead early in the morning. This may lead to serious medical disputes and huge financial damages. How to assess and predict the risk of sudden death at night in patients with psychosis, early detection of high-risk patients, early nursing interventions and timely notification to physicians is very important to avoid the accidental death of some patients.
