滕大春先生是我国当代著名的外国教育史学家。他早年毕业于北京大学教育系,先后在山东、安徽和四川等地任职。1947年滕先生赴美国留学,1950年获教育学博士学位后回国,由此开始了长达半个世纪的外国教育史教学与研究工作。作为学界公认的我国新时期外国教育史学科重要奠基人之一,滕先生在外国教育史学科建设以及美国教育史和西方教育思想研究领域作出了卓越贡献,并为社会培养了十余位优秀的外国教育史专业博士生。滕先生的学术历程和奋斗足迹,是值得后人铭记的宝贵财富。 Mr. Teng Dachun is a famous contemporary foreign educational historian in our country. He graduated from Peking University early education department, served successively in Shandong, Anhui and Sichuan. In 1947, Teng went to study in the United States and returned to China in 1950 after receiving his doctoral degree in education. From then on, he started teaching and researching the history of foreign education for half a century. Recognized as one of the important founding members of the history of foreign education in the new era in our country, Teng made outstanding contributions to the field of foreign educational history and the study of the history of American education and western educational thoughts and cultivated more than ten excellent Professional history of foreign education doctoral students. Mr Teng’s academic history and struggling footprints are valuable assets to be remembered by future generations.
