The “red beans” and “songs of youth” published in the 1950s all belonged to the product of political ideology but each focused on it. “Red Bean” belongs to the love story in the revolutionary theme, while “Song of Youth” is a revolutionary novel mixed with love. In both contexts, the revolution has become the shackles of imprisonment of personal feelings and the collectivism has worn off the existence of self. In this sense, personal love belongs to female intellectuals. In this sense, both works emphasize that love can only live on the basis of the revolution. That is missing.
