Since the outbreak of the international financial crisis in 2008, many capitalist countries have suffered from sluggish economic growth, serious polarization between the rich and the poor, and intensified political polarization. At the same time, populism is rising, protectionism is on the rise and the right-wing extremist ideology has been precipitated. These phenomena show that internal contradictions in contemporary developed capitalist countries are increasingly intensified and that the crisis of capitalism presents a series of new manifestations and new characteristics. In these countries, although some political forces try to shift the crisis by diverting the attention of the domestic public by accusing them of economic globalization and foreign intervention, they can not change the overall trend of deepening the crisis of contemporary capitalism.
