木桶理论告诉我们:一只木桶盛水的多少,不是取决于木桶中的长板而是取决于其中最短的一块木板。安全工作也是如此,我们经常发现不少地方和单位在安全工作中投入了大量的人力、物力和财力,也取得了不少先进成果,出现了很多亮点,但安全生产事故仍然时有发生,工作总是处于被动局面。究其原因,主要还是工作上的指导思想出现了偏差,作风浮躁,急于出经验,出典型,出亮点,出政绩,追求锦上添花做面子活的多,踏踏实实做雪中送炭的工作不够,造成面上工作的不平衡,出现了工作中的“木桶”短板现象。安全工作是一着不慎,满盘皆输。安全工作的好坏不是取决于先进的地方,而是取决于落后的地方。
