数学与经济学是两门从研究对象到研究方法都不相同的学科。但是,自从三百年前英国古典经济学家威廉·配第首先在经济研究中运用算术方法开始,直到今天以数学为工具的“系统科学”对经济学的不断渗透,大有一发不可收之势。笔者曾撰文对其渗透机理发表过粗浅的见解(见拙作《数学向经济学渗透的机理初探》,载《郑州大学学报》1989年第2期)。本文打算换一个角度,从更具体、更深入的层次,即从“线性规划”这门学科的 Mathematics and economics are two disciplines that differ from the research object to the research method.
