同我国的当代艺术一样,近30年我国的版画艺术太注重西方版画艺术的准则,对西方审美意识的揣摩与迎合投入太多的精力,导致我国的当代版画原创性弱、脱离本土民族审美意识、忽视中国观众的审美需求,使不了解版画的观众越来越多。木板年画造型的审美意蕴对当代版画创作的影响研究,实际上是对版画民族化理论的探讨,是对木板年画造型与审美重新认识的过程,是对版画艺术创作与审美的一次新的思考。
