美国华裔文学进入二十世纪九十年代后在创作主题上呈现出多元化、全球化的倾向,涌现了不少关于人类社会普世性主题的作品。本文基于全球化与文化研究的理论,主要分析了华裔女作家谭恩美在其新作《沉没之鱼》的写作意图。文章指出在全球化与多元化的时代背景下,美国华裔作家开始超越族裔写作的界限,他们通过其文学创作表达了在不同文化及族群之间平等和谐的多元文化整合观念。
American Chinese literature entered the theme of diversification and globalization after its emergence in the nineties of the 20th century, and many works on the universal theme of human society emerged. Based on the theories of globalization and cultural studies, this thesis mainly analyzes the intention of Chinese American writer Amy Tan in writing his novel The Sunken Fish. The article points out that under the background of globalization and diversification, American Chinese writers began to transcend the limits of ethnic writing. Through their literary creation, they expressed the concept of multicultural integration equal and harmonious among different cultures and ethnic groups.
