甘肃电影业的发展,迄今已有94年的历史。珍藏在法国卢米埃尔电影博物馆的兰州皮影戏器具,是“甘肃电影前史”的象征。新中国成立后,以抗建堂、金城、亚洲、中华、兰园电影部为代表的甘肃电影业相继重组、公私合营。50年代中后期,首设楼座的大众电影院堪称甘肃第一。随着工业化进程的不断加速,兰州近郊相继建成七里河、东岗电影院,市内重点工矿企业文化宫也开始了电影活动,兰州剧院、人民剧院和黄河剧场则先后增设了电影放映业 The development of the movie industry in Gansu has so far reached 94 years of history.
