棋类运动是集竞技、教育、科学、艺术、娱乐等五大功能于一体的一项运动,被称为“智慧的体操”、“人类智慧的磨刀石”。将棋类运动纳入学校教学体系中,不仅可以开发学生的智力,还可以陶冶他们的情操,提高他们的道德素养。西安交通大学附属中学在这方面做了许多有益的尝试,就棋类教学对中学生德育的促进进行了深入的研究。 Chess sports is a sports, education, science, art, entertainment and other five functions in one of the sports, is known as “wisdom of gymnastics ”, “human wisdom of honesty ”. Incorporating chess into the school teaching system can not only develop students’ intelligence, but also cultivate their sentiments and enhance their moral qualities. Xi’an Jiaotong University Affiliated High School in this area has done a lot of useful attempts to chess teaching for secondary school students to promote moral education conducted in-depth study.
