为了监测评估内蒙古乌达煤火的治理效果,以灭火前、中、后和灭火监测期的ASTER热红外波段为数据源,采用TES算法反演矿区地表温度,根据自适应梯度阈值法提取4个年度的火区,经过对比验证发现:2008年提取火区与2009年航空参考火区的重合度为71.4%;分析2008—2015年间的煤火演变状况,结果表明:2008—2013年间,火区呈现显著缩减趋势,面积减少2.5 km2,由集中变为零星分布,这表明该时期煤火治理效果显著;2013—2015年间,火区面积增加了0.3 km2,由离散变为集中分布,这说明火区有复燃的趋势,1 km2的存量说明今后仍需加大火区治理力度。
