The modern novelist Daiher Lawrence pays close attention to the negative effects of human loss brought about by man and nature as well as the modern industrial civilization. His novels mainly deal with such topics as human emotion, intuition and instinct, and in exploring these topics, Lawrence showed a strong pro-inclinationalist tendency to repress personal instinct in modern industrial civilization. He likes to imprint the primitive elements in fiction. Primitivism has become an obvious feature of his novels. At the same time, Lawrence sought to stimulate primitive instincts and instincts of numbness by using Primitivism and to reconstruct a harmonious and natural mode of human existence for alienated industrial society.
