水电站厂房布置应从厂房横剖面入手,先确定水轮机安装高程,根据所选水轮机型号和转轮尺寸,按系列水轮机尺寸比例放大,绘出水轮机转轮,座环,活动、固定导叶,蜗壳断面尺寸及尾水管单线图,绘出机墩和发电机外形图.根据各层布置和结构要求定出厂房其它高程.绘制发电机层平面布置图,根据水轮发电机型号、电站水头确定厂房机组段长度,继之定出厂房的安装场长度、边机组段长度,以确定厂房总长度.厂房宽度分别按厂房水上、水下部分的上下游侧拟定,根据蜗壳、尾水管尺寸、发电机及其辅助的设备尺寸、布置要求、交通道条件等定出厂房宽度,根据设备布置原则与尺寸,绘出其外形图,发电机平面布置图随之完成.根据厂房型式和地形条件决定副厂房的位置,根据电站规模确定副厂房的面积与组成,副厂房的布置由机电要求进行设计
