郑重地、鲜明地、完整地提出高举中国特色社会主义伟大旗帜,是十七大的一项重大创新,也是十七大的一项历史性贡献。其创新基点主要体现在两个方面:一是在表述方式上,用“中国特色社会主义”把新时期以来马克思主义中国化的理论成果集中整合起来表述党的旗帜,使其表述更为完整、科学、准确;二是在旗帜内涵上,用“一条道路”“一个理论体系”辩证统一于“一面旗帜”之中,既阐明了党的旗帜的科学内涵,又拓展了合理外延,强化了党的旗帜时代特色和实践特色。
